Polini’s contribution to the field of injection engines. Unlike the Malossi version, the Polini Sport comes with a mechanical system, which makes the whole affair considerably cheaper. Performance and quality are similar to those of the Malossi sport cylinders. The fuel/air mixture can be exactly adjusted via the differently thick washers at the injection pump. That way, you can to some extent even use a racing air filter with this system. ATTENTION: Since 2008, Aprilia SR DiTech comes with a Piaggio engine. You can see that you have a Piaggio engine from the vario rollers (19x15.5mm) or from the fact that the water pump is in the housing and not on the generator cover!
