A reinforced gear cover is essential for stronger tuned engines. In contrast to the original cover, this Malossi version is equipped with needle bearings for the intermediate shaft and the wheel shaft. The 2008 version now also fits in conjunction with Malossi Overrange torque drivers, but when being used with the Polini Evolution torque driver, it will still have to be revised.
