The short Stage6 Piaggio intake manifold is an inexpensive and excellent alternative to the rather expensive models of other manufacturers. A short intake tract offers better responsiveness and the intake rpm will be raised even further, which gives more power. So-called biofuels are becoming more and more popular. They may, however, contain up to 20% of pure alcohol, which makes the fuel more aggressive towards standard NBR rubber compounds. The alcohol will soften the NBR in time. In order to adapt to this trend, Stage6 Development is going to offer future products that are subject to extensive fuel contact (reed valves, intake manifolds etc.) in a FKM (Viton) compound, which will be slightly more expensive, but also more alcohol and heat resistant. Connection size: 24.5mm
