Racing reed assemblies feature an optimised inlet diameter and a gasflowed shape. The Racing reed has a lower flowing resistance than the standard one thus allowing a larger volume of fresh mixture to enter the crankcase. This results in a more efficient transfer to the cylinder which in turn results in a higher power output. Particularly recommended in conjunction with a larger carb.
