Stage6

The variator comes adjusted for use with a 50cc cylinder and a Stage6 ProReplica exhaust system. It has been developed and optimised for use with Stage6 SportPro/ Streetrace or similar 70cc sport cylinders though. The back of the variator and the roller tracks are hard coated, the running surface is, however, uncoated. On the one hand, this reduces the lifespan of the running surface; on the other hand, the increased friction coefficients result in better performance. Furthermore, the coating cannot flake off, as it may happen with chrome-hardened running surfaces, which would lead to quicker wear or even breaking of the drive belt. Included in this kit are the variator with bushing, back plate with low-friction coating, shims, a set of 5.0g roller weights (16x13) and a Stage6 torque spring.
